Compliance Genie

Hey Product Hunt community, We're excited to share Compliance Genie, a new product by the teams at Basis Theory and Kapa.ai. Compliance Genie is a bot designed to provide immediate, precise, and helpful insights into payment regulations, beginning with the network rules of Mastercard and Visa. We hope this empowers payments professionals (and anyone who works with payments regularly) with a quick, accurate answer by sifting through over 600 pages of the Visa and MasterCard rulebooks, instantly. What's Next? In the future, we plan to add more data sources that the payments community frequently refers to. This includes PCI DSS 4.0, the PSD2 regulations from the European Union, and Federal Regulations from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Please try it out and let us know what you think! When I was told we were doing this, I thought, "Now that is a great idea." We are often asked compliance questions with all sorts of detail levels, like "What are the rules for merchants engaging in internet gambling transactions according to Mastercard?" or "What are the customer service requirements for Visa card issuers?" The conversational context provided by GPT-4 is awesome and helps users, including myself, to engage the Genie naturally. Personally, I have been using this tool to help answer my prospects' questions at the level of detail they want and referencing the actual pages when prompted. Way to go, team!
