I'm Pete, a freshman at UTS Sydney and founder of Cliptutor.
We're thrilled to introduce Cliptutor 1.0, the platform built to help educators and learners to help them harness the power of lecture videos with AI.
As a college freshman, majority of my time is spent on watching lectures and noting down key points, summarizing, etc. to help me study more effectively. This works, but what if there was a better, more efficient way? This prompted me to build Cliptutor, not only for myself, but for other students and educators who are facing the same problem.
Simply paste the YouTube link of any video, upload mp3/mp4 files, and you have a personal tutor ready at your fingertips. Chat with the videos, create multi-format quizzes on 1 click with AI, and integrate them with Quizlet and Kahoot to fully supercharge your educational goals. Students can also create study guides on 1 click with AI, allowing them to study more effectively.
We're still in our early stages, so feedback is appreciated! We're always looking for ways to provide the most value possible for our users, and it starts with you.

@pete_tran1 hey fellow Aussie! Congratulations. As a lecturer this sounds a great concept. I got stuck uploading the video for my lecture, as alot of the lecturing platforms from top universities are not linked to youtube. Assuming it will take you a while to load, process a full 1-2hr lecture in MP4?
Hey Pete, congrats on the launch! I always find YouTube to be the most resourceful platform to learn anything - Cliptutor fits perfectly to my learning workflow! Looking forward to the product iterations!
