Inspired by Github Copilot, Clap is an AI tool that enhances your writing by completing sentences and providing translation help. It serves as your creative writing assistant.
Hello everyone. This is my first time launching my own product on Product Hunt. It was a weekend project for me (actually, it took more than just a weekend because adapting to various types of websites took quite some time). Despite its flaws, I still want to share it with everyone because I believe this product embodies the concept of extreme simplicity. You won't even see any buttons or interactive UI. This is my vision for future AI applications - I hope they remain simple and can do more for you.
This tool was inspired by GitHub Copilot. Copilot is, in my opinion, the best tool of the year, even surpassing ChatGPT. You can not only use it to write code, but also to write any document, even emails. All you need to do is type a few characters and wait for it to complete a whole paragraph for you. If you can't find the inspiration or the right way to express yourself, it always has a surprise for you.
What I want to create is a web version of Copilot that can be used in any website's input box. You don't need to click a pop-up button, write a prompt, or do any extra operations. Just input as usual and let the AI do its thing. If you want more, like translation, just type 'translate to lang:' at the beginning and it can accomplish what you want. In the creative process, AI is your assistant and your friend.
Congratulations @sailxjx, on the launch! You've definitely put a ton of thought into simplifying the writing process for those who need it. I have a little suggestion, though – while using it, I noticed that the suggestions generated were sometimes a bit repetitive. But, that's something we can always work around. All in all, it's a fantastic product, and I hope more people give it a try!
@jisha_tigga Thanks a lot, this is a very helpful suggestion. Although it's simple, there is still plenty of room for improvement on the prompt. If you could provide me with a few examples (screenshots or text), I will do my best to optimize them.
