I purchased Ignition mid 2022, initially seeing it as another project management tool. After exploring the software further I find that it is more based around launching of products and services and with that distinction comes some key differences to your standard Asana or Monday offerings. The best part about ignition for me is that it generates the key questions and considerations around product launches that you might not necessarily think of or even know if you are new to the process. My 1 to 1 with Derek the founder was extremely beneficial as he was able to produce for me a quick example of the speed in which you can create a launch plan with the use of the Autopilot feature. I have monitored its growth since I purchased it last year and continue to be impressed by Derek's commitment to growing Ignition and supporting the community.

Hey guys! Take my congrats on the recent launch of the Product Hunt! 🎉 I love the name of the project ♥️. Ignition sounds really great. When I read this I caught myself on thought about space, spaceships, and the future 🚀. I also like space gray colors in the design. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the logo. As for me, it's not so informative. In the matter of functionality, you are quite similar to JIRA and Target Process. What is your killer feature? How are you going to overcome them?

From a product management perspective, you can think of us as an end-to-end product lifecycle management platform to collect product ideas with voting boards, build visual roadmaps, and communicate releases with changelogs and seamless GTM handoffs. Task management /tracking engineering tasks from Jira is just one feature. There are several killer features. @stedmanblake Thanks Stedman! We kind of see a couple very distinct segments of audience, each with slightly different focus areas in the product. Our sweet spot is kind of companies that just went through their first growth inflection and are starting to scale, adding sales, launching more things, etc. (so, companies that recently crossed the ~50-100 employee mark). But, we have a ton of very small teams and solo marketers who use us as well for our research and release notes tools or for planning their initial company launch. We also have some very very large enterprise teams using us for the massive stakeholder alignment needs that come along with a large org.
