We built the bare minimum product in two nights (just in time for valentines) so still figuring out safety features without affecting user privacy, ideally we would want to deploy an AI model that monitors active sessions, detects nudity/nsfw and reports appropriately.
The matching algo at the moment is very simple- prioritise matching opposite genders, if no opposite gender available, match randomly and ordered by wait time. Though we have been discussing about adding profile bios, interests, etc for enhanced matching
We got good engagement on twitter (X) which became our primary source for users
Yes it is an open source project (started this for a hackathon and thought- man this is too good for any random hackathon) We built this as a weekend hack to experiment on the possibilities
