Simply upload a file, share the link, and after it is downloaded, the file is completely deleted. For added security, set an expiration on the file and it is deleted within a certain amount of time, even if it was never downloaded.

I'm upvoting this because I'm in love with the idea and I really WANT this to work. But usually, people who are very concerned about privacy are only concerned because of sexual photos or videos on their hard drives, and will just never pay for privacy. It's the same reason why they refuse to go to the genius bar at Apple. ;) The ones who do need privacy for business, rely on their IT managers to handle it. Sorry to burst the bubble for you, and I genuinely hope that I'm wrong because I love to see entrepreneurs build successful products- I'm just very sure that this one isn't it... unless you're making a free social media platform play like Wickr; in which case, I'll be the first person to support you.
