Hello everyone, I’m super excited to share BodyState, an iOS and WatchOS app designed to track your personal energy levels throughout the day. After switching from a Garmin to an Apple Watch Ultra earlier this year, I missed Garmin’s Body Battery feature, so I decided to build something similar as a hobby to learn programming. Honestly, I think it might even be better, but I’ll let you be the judge! BodyState is completely free, requires no account, and contains no ads. All health data is processed directly on your device and is never stored anywhere. I’d love for you to give it a try and hear what you think!

Congrats! Beautiful UI! This might be a bit direct, but are you planning to monetize this product or use it to build a user base first?
Håvard Sjong
@zhiqi_shi Thanks, that's a great question, so no worries! I’ve added a way for users to support development by purchasing themes, which change the app’s look and come with new widgets and watch complications. It’s a great way to get support without locking away any features. I’m really grateful for all the support so far, and with so many people backing it, there’s no need for more monetization right now.

BTW, how did you created such gradient on the website? 😅
Håvard Sjong
Hi! I used Figma and a fantastic free resource called "12 Free Holographic Dark Gradients 1.0". I started with one of the templates and then adjusted the colors and size to suit the website. Link: https://www.figma.com/community/... Thanks for checking it out! @busmark_w_nika

@havard_sjong I think iOS 18 + also make mesh gradient easy https://developer.apple.com/docu...
