Hey everyone 👋 I’m super excited to announce the release of Boardy, an app that let’s everyone create beautiful dashboards without having to write a single line of code. When the pandemic first started, I wrote a small home dashboard that I ran on a Raspberry Pi in my living room. It was a fun little side project that was more silly than useful. Some of the info it showed was how many times either my wife or I had made coffee for each other so we always know whose turn it was (and of course, I didn’t manipulate the score one bit). While I had a lot of fun writing it, it was still a ton of work. There are a lot of open source tools and packages out there that make creating dashboards significantly easier, but you still actually have to *do* it. Hooking up all sorts of external data sources, refreshing the data in regular intervals, pushing new data to the dashboard without having to refresh the page every time, deploying it all... all so you can display a few colorful boxes on a screen! So I had the idea of creating this tool that takes care of all the annoying stuff about creating dashboards. You simply pick and choose what data you want displayed and arrange it in whatever order you want. Boardy takes care of the rest. For the more programmatically inclined among you, there’s also an API that let’s you push HTML to a module. So even if we don’t currently provide a first-party module for something (which is going to happen since we only just launched), you can still display whatever data you want. I do plan on extending the API in the future but it’s a nice escape hatch to get started. All that being said, I’m relying on actual user feedback to know which modules or third-party app integrations I should build next. Looks really good. Congrats on the launch. Do you think I ll be able to get data from bigquery and make a dashboard?

@satyendra_sahani I'm pretty sure that anything is technically possible. Right now, I'm mostly observing what people are missing before committing to something, so this exactly the kind of feedback I'm looking for. Putting it on my research list :)
