Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Noel, one of the makers of BeamUp. Why we built it At my last gig we spent ridiculous amounts of time (and AWS bills) downloading files from vendors only to re-upload them to our own S3. Every “simple” upload widget stored a full copy on the provider’s servers, which meant extra transfers, hidden retention risks, and an attack surface we didn’t control. We wanted a portal, not another storage service - so we built BeamUp. What’s new & different Unlike file-request tools that act as middlemen, BeamUp is a stateless relay: the browser streams multipart chunks straight into your bucket. No proxy servers. No temp disks. No waiting for a background “sync” job. And because we mint short-lived, least-privilege creds per session, you never hand out a permanent IAM key. What we’re proud of We pushed a 3 GB 4K clip to S3 in 120 seconds with zero retries during beta - and our earliest customers are already shipping dailies, CAD zips, and database dumps the same way.
