Hi Everyone, thanks for taking an interest in Appurt.
We created Appurt as an affiliate site to highlight the great handcrafted products that are being sold on Etsy and Amazon Handmade.
We've been happily surprised by how many small design studios and makers are creating great quality products all over the world and hopefully with Appurt these products will now be easier to find.
The next steps for us will be to include filters to make it easier to search by country and by shipping lead times.

As Etsy and Amazon Handmade have more products and sellers to count (more adding/joining everyday), how is your team discovering/handpicking the items that are being curated?

At the moment, all of the items are manually chosen and curated together by us personally. This is quite an organic scavenger hunt at the moment because sometimes it's as basic as just trawling through Etsy and Amazon for hidden gems. Sometimes after finding one interesting product or seller it can also just lead off on a tangent of other products that are also great quality. Or sometimes just one discovery will open up some new product niche that you might not expect would be on Etsy.
