Hey Product Hunt! Today we're launching the brand new Anvil Editor! If you're new to Anvil, welcome. Anvil is a platform for building web apps with nothing but Python. This is our biggest launch yet! We taken feedback from our diverse community of Anvil developers and rebuilt the Anvil Editor from the ground up. The new Anvil Editor has a cleaner, more intuitive interface as well as a whole host of highly requested features, including built-in git version control for better collaboration, multiple databases and deployment environments for your full development lifecycle, static file storage for building powerful data-backed apps, and much more! Why are we building Anvil? Building for the modern web is complicated and error-prone: a typical web app requires five different languages and four or five frameworks just to get started. In my opinion, there is no faster way to get robust, real world web applications from concept to production. I've been a long time advocate of Anvil, and these days I use little else.
