A short backstory: A little while ago, I took a 1+ year sabbatical from my tech job. To make sure I was on track financially, I needed a simple way to track my net worth, and critically, to see if my withdrawal rate was sustainable.
I tried the big-name apps (Empower, Mint, etc.), but found them overly cluttered with budgeting tools, forecasts, and features I didn't need. I also tried a Google spreadsheet, but that quickly became a pain to manage.
That's why I built Ample. It's the app I wished I had. It focuses on just a few key things:
Uncluttered interface that puts your Net Worth, Liquid Net Worth, and Safe Withdrawal front and center.
A configurable withdrawal rate (because 4% isn't for everyone).
Automatic tracking for stocks, ETFs, crypto, and funds.
Custom charts to track any combination of asset / liability, goals, and home screen widgets.
