Thanks, Nicolas! Airbyte co-founder here. A few words on the program :) How many connectors are concerned? Today, we have about 100 alpha and beta connectors available in Airbyte Cloud. By end of March, we should have migrated 75% of all open-source connectors to Airbyte Cloud (by adding some security layers). This should increase that number to almost 200. So how does the free connector program work? When using Airbyte Cloud, we only charge you when you’re using a GA source and a GA destination. If either the source or destination is in alpha or beta, you can use the pipeline for free, whatever your data volume! (Connectors have 3 possible status: alpha, beta or GA (Generally Available). GA connectors come with a 99% SLA, in addition to test coverage, checkpointing and more. When a connector is in beta, this means we’re actively working on them to make them GA. ) We will notify you in advance when we’re about to get the connector to GA (99% SLA for 50+ users) and will give you a grace period before starting to charge you. What do you need to get access to the program? Easy, a verified email and a credit card on the account. That’s it! And for the curious ones, why we launched this program? Usage will help us identify edge cases and issues on those connectors, and will make it easier for us and our growing community (600+ contributors) to address. It's also a way to give back to our community during a difficult economical context
