Launch Team

What do you think? …

Eran Abramson
I've been connected with the Acumen founding team for a while and gotten a front-row seat as the product has evolved over the past year. These guys have built something incredible – using ML to help dev teams stay aligned and boost productivity. Psyched for their launch and excited to share with the world. :)

Nevo from Acumen here – really excited to introduce Acumen to the PH community. We built Acumen to address the pain of virtually every engineering leader of a growing organization: “Seems like the more developers we add, the slower and less efficient we become” – challenges around declining velocity, missed deadlines, and process overhead (micro-management, “work about work,” etc.). During their years working as engineering team leads, our co-founders Daniel Shir and Itamar Mula discovered it was frequently difficult to get a clear picture of what was going on with the team, with data fragmented across many systems (Github, Jira, Slack, calendars, CI/CD, on-call tools, etc.) and important signals – e.g., what should the team be focused on? – buried in the data. The answer was almost never “more management dashboards.” So we built Acumen. :) Our vision is to be the dev team’s GPS: an intelligent navigation system used to avoid risks and boost productivity. Acumen unifies and analyzes data from Github, Jira, and more to deliver intelligent recommendations and guidance to teams on what to prioritize and how to get unblocked. I’m proud of the team and grateful to our phenomenal design partners (like Logz.io, Bizzabo, Cloudshare, and Honeybook) for their constructive feedback over the last 12 months. And we’re excited for feedback and suggestions – thanks for being a part of the journey.
