TL;DR: Wavedash uses cutting edge browser technology to let gamers play the latest games with no downloads or installation.
The Problem
Large downloads and lengthy installs create friction between your game and potential players—as many as 50% of players quit before install.
Our Solution
Wavedash uses cutting edge browser technologies (like WebAssembly and WebGPU) to allow players to hop into your game instantly — with no downloads and no installations.

Very cool. I worked on similar tech in the first startup I joined 2009-2010.
What's not 100% clear to me: What's the primary use case? I'm not sure hardcore gamers mind downloading games and most tend to sink their time into one or two games at a time for several weeks/months. And casual players are primarily mobile, downloading via the App Store.
@rrhoover You were too early! The tech is finally here. We're most excited about the new user behavior unlocks. Sending a game invite to a friend who has never played before and having them join you seconds later feels radically new! Never bet against the web.
@redcore we are onboarding studios and their top games right now—platform launching later this year!! Made a note to make sure we try to get Clair Obscur on Wavedash :)
Wavedash makes me wish I was back in my games creation days. I don't how to explain it. Such an incredible, nostalgic product - and the founding team is even better ;)
