What’s one UX mistake wearables keep repeating?
I’ve tested dozens of wearable devices, syncing delays and clunky onboarding are still way too common.
As someone building in AI fitness tech,
I’m curious:
What’s the one UX misstep you see over and over in fitness wearables or health dashboards?
Let’s trade lessons on how to fix them.

Honestly, I think one major mistake is how wearables prioritize personalization. Everyone has different needs why assume we all want step counts, heart rate alerts or sleep data shown the same way? The UX often feels "one size fits all" and that's frustrating. A smarter design would adapt to me over time not the other way around.
A common UX blunder is poor battery life management. Many wearables require frequent charging, which disrupts users' daily routines. It's frustrating when a device dies in the middle of a workout or during the day.
