Built an AI powered photo memory re-color app in just 4 days.
A few days ago, a new AI model inspired me to do something special.
I took some old black-and-white photos of my grandparents and great-grandparents and used the latest AI to re-color and animate them into short videos.
When I shared these in our family WhatsApp chat, the response was overwhelmingly emotional. My aunt even called me teary eyed, referring to the animated picture of her and my late grand mother, telling me how special it was and that she would cherish it for the rest of her life. 🥲
Moments like that really show how powerful these newer GenAI models can be.
That moment sparked an idea, and in just under four days, using n8n and Lovable, I built the AI-Nostalgia app. With the help of Razorpay for seamless payment integration. I swear, Iv'e never experienced pace to deploy products like this, and I've been building products for a long time. đź«

Product Update: Currently in my workflow, I am not saving re-coloring results in supabase, which I am planning to fix once the traffic dies out a little. As for the video Gen AI engine, Its taking longer than expected. Hopefully, will be up and running in the next update.
