Just love the idea. Please add crypto as a payment method. And the naming is perfect.

@aaron_levi_yahalom that's an amazing idea, thank you! any suggestions on crypto checkout integrations?

@nitish_r_ Just asked my guys. Check BTCPay server. It's free, 0% fees, open source, non-custodial and self-hosted.

@aaron_levi_yahalom looks amazing! thank you so much

@nitish_r_ Just got another 2 recommendations. Bitpay and G2A Pay. It's slightly more enterprisish )) and less decentralized, but worth to be mentioned as a proven solution.

@nitish_r_ @aaron_levi_yahalom they look really good too, and low fees. thanks a ton Aaron!

Hey Product Hunters ! I paid for a few annual subscriptions and realised I didn't quite need them anymore - built a website to get some money back selling them. Still working some quirks out but you might find the platform interesting - please do subscribe. You can pretty much list anything with a long shelf life for sale. keen to hear your thoughts

I think this is a smart solution to the relatable "subscribers remorse" problem. Two of the biggest features I think it's missing at first glance are a column that lists the original annual price and a second column that calculates the buyer's savings based on the remaining subscription time. Kudos for making a useful marketplace!

@jordankingxyz Thanks Jordan! thanks for pointing it out - I thought about them, but the original pricing data is not super accurate - working on a way of automatically pulling this from the vendor website.

How do you actually enforce subscription ownership exchange since this usually means third party intervention (aka by the companies that are selling the subscription and which are many times reluctant to do so)
Nitish Rathee
@rad_val_ thanks Valentin, yes - enforcement is at the seller level and varies between products

Something to explore: a way to automate releasing the accounts. Ex: if its a Spotify account, let the user pass through the Spotify login API, you can maybe automate email/password change, etc.. (Contingent on the permissions allowed).
Nitish Rathee
@jadaizarani thanks! will definitely look in to this

The idea behind is pretty interesting, but unfortunately I cannot see the price and status on my mobile.

@kluc hi thanks for mentioning! working on a better representation for the data - should be live in the next release
Nitish Rathee
@kluc put a temporary fix in the meantime! thanks for sharing

Hey @nitish_r_ this is a very useful idea. Are there any legal issues to reselling the subscription?
Nitish Rathee
@nitish_r_ @vishal_srivastava3 thank you Vishal! depends on where users are based

Love this idea as I’ve toyed with this idea before. There is a huge market for impulse-bought AppSumo deals but I think the more enterprise-level buys might be interesting as well. When mapping out the business model, it seems like the safest way to make the transfer is via a concierge-escrow method so people don’t end up buying from someone without being paid. If you could be the trusted intermediary, you could switch their billing out for a prepaid card option (so the seller doesn’t get charged again) then transfer to the buyer after they make the payment. Huge potential here if you can dodge the pitfalls and risks for sellers/buyers.
Nitish Rathee
@generouswork Thanks for your kind words Rich! we do offer buyer protection through escrow. - probably not the right platform for appsumo like offerings, focused more on products with good value and great utility.

Is this allowed by the terms of the subscriptions? I am guessing some of them do not allow sharing accounts in any way?
