Feedback and help needed with error message

Hey team, I tried Talk To Your Computer - first off, congratulations on concept. Having an AI assistant that can see your screen and have a response, in real-time, is so powerful. Because of that friction of switching tabs or going over the top explanations with what you are doing is eliminated - just what builders and operators need.

Here are some opinions based on my experience:

✅ What’s Good

  • The one click screen sharing is really easy and intuitive.

  • The voice transcriptions are quick and sound natural, which helps to keep everything flowing.

  • I really like, that the AI doesn't just hear me, but sees what I am doing and adjusts its response based on it. That is a real step up in productivity.

⚠️ What Could Be Improved

  • Lag in AI response: There is a noticeable delay when speaking to the AI and it responds. While it does try to compensate for this by responding fast, it can sometimes sound rushed and not as human.

  • Error on use: I got this error while I was in a session:

    FUNCTION_INVOCATION_TIMEOUT bom1 :: j7fbz-1750762271664-c943fc4ebdee

    This might be something to look at in terms of stability on the backend.

🧠Recommendations:

  • Consider normalizing the AI's voice speed regardless of lag - even if it responds a bit late it may sound more natural when the speed is consistent.

  • It may be nice to add a smoother "loading/thinking" when the AI is thinking so users know it's still working and it's frozen. I mean it is there but doesn't really work that well.

  • I think it'd make sense to have some error recovery or fall-back messaging if something fails — even something simple as "Oops! Something went wrong, please try again."

Overall, I'm excited for where this is headed. Especially with a few performance tweaks, I can see this being a must-have tool for all devs, designers, and solo-founders.

Awesome job so far - keep pushing! 🚀
