I hacked this together because I wanted it. It's possible this functionality already exists - but not with the name tab slayer. I believe the permission are pretty reasonable, it needs access to your tabs to close them. I can open source the code if people would rather audit + build from source themselves. I would probably add a feature if you asked, and would be even more likely to do it if you bought me a coffee :) have a great day!

Tab Slayer sounds like a great productivity tool! How customizable is the scheduling feature? Also, do you plan on adding any analytics to show users their browsing habits? Congrats on the launch!

@kyrylosilin Hello! right now it just supports a fixed interval (days hours minutes). I may support general cron notation in the future, but thats probably the upper bound for what I would add. wrt analytics, hadnt really considered that, but could be interesting to keep track of which sites it slays the most. thanks for the idea!

Interesting! I find myself closing multiple tabs of the same website I've opened, would be nice to automate it! Congrats!

This is really cool! I always end up with too many tabs open, so I could use some help clearing them out 🔪

That's an interesting and much-needed concept.
