I’m Elijah, co-founder and CEO of Soshi.

Soshi is your AI social media manager. Simply put, we're aiming to build the first fully intelligent and capable agent that can handle the entire content lifecycle: strategy, engagement, distribution, and analysis, so you can grow online without needing to know the ins and outs of social media or hiring a team.

📖 Our Story

I’ve wanted to be an entrepreneur ever since I was a kid watching my dad run a small restaurant in Hawaii. During COVID, I saw how hard it was for him to keep things going without any real digital presence. That was the first time I really understood how brutal it can be for small, traditional businesses to adapt to tech.

In the last five years, I tried and failed at 16 different startups. I kept chasing this idea that I could build something that actually helped people like my dad. But nothing stuck.

Until a few months ago, when my best friend @mikelong10 and I built the first version of Soshi during a global AI Hackathon hosted by @supabase x @Y Combinator. (Read more here)

🏆 And We Won!

This moment was incredible, but we were really driven to build this when @paulcopplestone (CEO @ @supabase) told us this was something he actually needed and would really get value from. Paul, Ant, and the rest of the Supabase team gave me the clarity and belief I had been missing all along.

A few weeks later, I dropped my classes during my last semester at Northeastern and went all in.

At the same time, I'd been rebuilding my personal brand from scratch on X and Threads. Previously, I've grown several accounts to 30-40K+ across platforms like TikTok and X. However, starting over reminded me how much of a grind it still is. Posting daily. Researching. Engaging. It takes up all your time, and when I looked into what the market had to offer, I was simply unsatisfied. They throw you a dashboard, a set of tools, and some analytics, then just expect you to figure it out.

So we built Soshi.

📖 What's Happened Since Then?

The first feature we built not only won us the hackathon, but also got us a lot of love across platforms.

Simply put, we automated the most popular growth strategy on X known as the "reply guy" strategy.

We built an AI agent that uses a computer just like a human, logging into your account, finding relevant people and posts, then writes replies in your voice, engaging with your ideal audience, while getting smarter over time.

Then we decided to make our initial version free, and launched it 3 months ago on X:

Your energy has been on point for this launch! Must be that sea air. I gave it a whirl and the onboarding was lovely, the computer use was very exciting to watch! Sadly for some reason the twitter login was failing for me but I'm definitely going to come back later and give this a whirl.

Soshi.io looks fantastic love how it simplifies social media engagement with smart analytics and scheduling tools. what features are you planning to introduce next, like AI-driven content suggestions or deeper platform integrations?

I love the idea of giving Claude one-click access to different platforms. Have you built in any customization for workflows, or is it more plug and play for now?

Really appreciate the clean design and focus on utility here. I tried it with Notion and worked exactly the way I hoped. This kind of plug-and-go setup saves me a lot of unnecessary switching.

I use Claude regularly but haven’t tried it with design tools yet. How well does it integrate with Figma in terms of context? Can it actually interpret design components or just respond to general prompts?
