SilentType is your AI notetaker for live sessions. It transcribes, summarizes, exports to Notion, and even creates to-do lists. Whisper cues like “explain later” to flag key moments. No typing—just talk.
SilentType is your seamless, silent co-pilot for live learning, meetings, and lectures. It listens. It transcribes. It organizes. All without disrupting the flow.
Unlike clunky meeting recorders or generic voice assistants, SilentType was built to fade into the background. The moment you start a session, it begins capturing everything being said — then turns it into clear, well-structured, and beautifully formatted notes. Automatically.
✨ What makes SilentType different?
🎙️ Live audio capture with accurate transcription
🧠 AI-powered summarization for clean, readable notes
🔖 Smart cues: Whisper “explain later” or “action item” to mark key moments
📄 Notes auto-organized into sections, bullet points, and even tables
🔗 Notion Integration: Export structured notes to your workspace
✅ To-do list generator: Turns key tasks into actionable items
Whether you're a student in class, a founder in a pitch meeting, or a designer in a workshop, SilentType gives you full, organized recall of what happened — without ever needing to type or distract.
No keyboards. No noise. No friction.
Try it at silenttype.litgrades.com — just press “Start Session” and let it handle the rest.
@yash_bhatnagar1 It's such a useful product, their have been many times that I open another tab for notepad and manually write the important stuff that my boss tells me.
I feel like, just by reading your explanation and features that SilentType offers, that the process would be so much hassle free and automated.
Will support this idea all the way I can
Congratulations to the Silenttype team for enabling users to flag key moments with whisper cues, which adds a practical layer of efficiency to live session transcription and note management.
Just discovered SilentType and I’m genuinely excited to try it out — this feels like the kind of tool I’ve always needed but never quite found.
I’ve sat through way too many meetings, lectures, and brainstorming sessions where I was either scrambling to take notes or completely zoned out trying to stay present. SilentType solves that in such a thoughtful way. It quietly captures everything, transcribes it accurately, and turns it into beautifully structured notes — without me having to lift a finger or break focus.
The little touches really stand out:
🧠 The AI summaries are a game-changer — clean, readable, and easy to revisit.
🎙️ Being able to just whisper “explain later” or “action item” to mark moments? Genius.
📄 Notes automatically formatted into sections, bullet points, and tables? Yes, please.
🔗 And the Notion integration is the cherry on top — I can keep everything synced with my workflow.
Whether it’s classes, team calls, or even creative sessions, this just feels like the perfect silent co-pilot to help me stay present without losing important info.
Unique idea with the whisper cues! Are you planning to expand exports to other note-taking platforms, or is the focus staying primarily Notion for now?
Interesting adjacent product - so many note takers have too much going on, it really is nice to know that you can press record. Question: Does it also record whatever is on your screen, like when someone is live streaming a lecture or webinar?
Cool, sounds really useful! I really want to try this out once school starts again.
One problem with this though is that my computer's microphone is on the inside of the lid, and for classes where you don't need a computer the teacher is going to think you are playing games if you have your computer open. I also can't use my phone since they make you keep them in your lockers.
It would be nice if I could use a dedicated audio recording device, and then upload that audio file to the website to make the transcription instead of having to record on a smart device.
Also, I think it would be a lot easier to mark where you need explaining later by just tapping the microphone instead of having to whisper a word.

@camden_griffin for now it's just Notion, but I'm definetely gonna add exports to other platforms. Do you have any specific in mind?

@brandonshtein For now I've kept it voice-only for real, classroom experiences, but maybe adding something for internal audio is doable as well!
Excited to try this out. Looks super interesting and useful. Keep building and leading, Yash!

@designbrian it's been added!
Can it connect to Notion?
LitGrades
@samihindi yes! Once you login, record some stuff, and have it generate notes you can export that to Notion!
Hey Yash, you've built an amazing product and would love to chat about it and, if possible, take it further.
The Notion auto-export is the cherry on top. PH fam - this is how note-taking should work in 2025! 🚀
