SmartMod.Ai — Stop AI-generated content on Reddit

👋 Hey everyone, I’m Imad, founder of SmartMod.ai & itsmartsolutions.llc.

I built SmartMod.ai because, as a moderator, I kept seeing AI-generated posts creep into communities. It’s frustrating, lowers trust, and makes queues harder to manage.

SmartMod.ai gives moderators an AI score on new posts so they can quickly decide whether to approve or remove saving time and keeping subs human.

One feature I’m especially excited about is the Auto Moderator: you can set rules like “remove posts with AI score > 90%” or “flag posts between 40%-70% for review.” This way, SmartMod works for you in the background, cutting down queue time while you focus on what really matters.

I’d love your feedback:

  • Join our waitlist first

  • Do you think AI detection will become essential for moderation?

  • What features would make this tool more useful for mods like you?

Thanks for checking it out 🙏

Would be nice if this worked with comments too, not just posts. A lot of AI spam sneaks into replies.

@jusiy_waller Right now we’re starting with posts to keep the scope manageable. Once we enhance the scoring and gather feedback from mods, expanding to comments will be the next step 😄😄

Maybe in the future you could add analytics too like showing what % of a sub’s posts are AI over time.

@mae_twyman Great point! We already show the average AI score for posts, which gives a quick sense of the content quality. More detailed analytics will definitely come with time, but right now we’re focused on collecting feedback and enhancing the scoring.
