I’m working on Consumely, a tool aimed at helping businesses manage and optimize the usage of multiple SaaS and AI tools, particularly around tracking costs and forecasting consumption.

Here’s the backstory:

I’ve had my fair share of frustration with hitting limits on tools like ChatGPT or other AI platforms, where I run out of credits and can’t continue. Or worse, the constant overages on SaaS tools that charge you more when you exceed your plan’s usage. It’s a pain, right? That's why I thought - what if there was a way to manage all these limits in one place, track usage in real-time, and forecast when I’m going to hit them? That’s where Consumely comes in.

Consumely aims to:

• Track usage in real-time across multiple tools, so you know exactly where you stand before hitting a limit or getting slapped with extra charges.

• Help businesses optimize tool usage and avoid those annoying overages that sneak up on you.

• Forecast consumption so you can plan ahead and not get caught by surprise when limits reset.

• Allow you to set usage limits per team or individual, so you can prevent overages and make sure everyone stays within budget.

But I need your help to make sure this actually solves a real problem! Don’t hold back - I want the brutal truth.

Here’s what I’m hoping to learn:

• Do you have enough SaaS/AI tools where something like this would make sense?

• What's the distribution of tools which use Consumption/Usage as a cost metric VS license/seats?

• Is this solving a real pain point, or is it just another tool that doesn’t address a pressing problem?
