Launching SunQuest this Sunday (August 3) — AR sun tracking & rooftop solar estimation ☀️

Hi everyone,

I’ve been working on a solo project called SunQuest, which I’ll be launching here on Product Hunt this Sunday (August 3).

It’s an iOS app that lets you:

– visualize the sun’s path in AR and 3D

– find shade in the city (or your garden) to avoid heatwaves

– and estimate the solar potential of your roof based on its orientation, tilt, and nearby obstructions (using Google’s solar data)

It’s designed for real-world decisions — whether you’re thinking about installing solar panels, choosing a new apartment, or just trying to park smarter ☀️
