Launching a productized service soon! Please roast me!

Hey guys!

I'm gearing up to launch RoastMySaaSPitchDeck on Producthunt soon. Super pumped!

It's a productized video review service for pre-seed and seed SaaS founders.

What do you guys think of the landing page? What would you need to see to make it more convincing?

Hi @emikes919. Very stragithforward value proposition. Definitely a pain that is felt by thousands of entrepreneurs, in particular the ones that give great importance to a pitch deck.

A fe comments about the landing page:

  1. This phrase feels incomplete: "I’ve converted pitch decks into over $31 million", are you referring to $31M ARR, or $31 million capital raised, etc... It gets clarified in the video but still ambiguous in the subtitle

  1. The video is a bit long and there is no way to know how long... I stoped it half way (I think)

  2. Then, there rest is social proof, which is very strong, and I imagine you need it if you are asking the users ot pay right off the bat, given that this is not a subscription, but it seems to be a one time payment.

If you don't mind my asking, how are you planning to get customers? Is it going to be mainly inbound through paid ads or are you planning to use different channels?

@dg_ hey thanks for your thoughts! Taking your points 1 by 1

  1. It should be "31M capital raised". I will fix this today. Thank you!

  2. I firmly believe that there's no such thing as too long, only too boring. This video may be too boring, but I want to let the data tell me that. Once I push enough volume through the video, I'll be able to get good drop off data from the engagement chart. Also the video is ~15 minutes. I removed the length meter as a marketing hack. If the copy is good enough, people will be more likely to stay engaged if they don't know how long it is. We'll see!

  3. Yes this is a paid up front productized service. I'm A/B testing order flows. Right now, you find out the price at the end of a 2 step order flow, but I'm also gonna test revealing the price up front. I'll ultimately just go with whatever performs the best at each stage of the funnel.

To your point about traffic acquisition: primarily paid ads, augmented with organic content. Right now I'm seeing 3%+ CTRs on my ad testing, so hopefully I can maintain that as I scale spend, then focus on optimizing the rest of the funnel.

Ultimately, I would like to systematize a content engine around this service since promotion content is automatically created with every video review I record. I see that as a way to meaningfully reduce CAC in the medium term.

Stay tuned for my launch on PH!

Feels like a killer idea that's trying too hard to be polite. Let the spice fly!

@joselin_mcclaskey thanks great feedback! where do you think I'm being polite??? I thought I was being quite direct, especially in the "you are NOT a good fit if" section.
