Back again with another project — but this time, built entirely in a vibe-coding flow. Introducing ZappyToon🚀

It’s a fun AI-powered app that transforms your selfies or photos into different artistic styles like:

✨ Pixar-style 3D characters
🎥 Studio Ghibli artwork
🖥️ South Park cartoon versions
📸 And even vintage film portraits

Fun backstory:
My last post here was for DraftAI, a LinkedIn messaging tool I built the "proper way" — structured sprints, planned tickets, careful iterations. It worked fine, but it felt like work.

With ZappyToon, I decided to go full vibe-coding mode, thanks to Vercel v0 and Cursor. No overthinking — just chasing the dopamine hits and building what felt exciting. Ended up shipping the entire thing in 3 days 🔥

Built with:

• Supabase (auth, storage, edge functions)

• Gemini API for image generation

• Vercel v0 for rapid UI mocks

• Cursor for dev workflow magic

• Paddle integration (coming soon) for paid generations

It was the fastest, most fun build I've done in ages. Truly seeing the power of vibe-coding now.
