Built a privacy tool to remove EXIF & AI metadata from images — free & browser-only

Hey folks šŸ‘‹

I recently built Untrace — a lightweight, privacy-first image cleaner.

It removes:

EXIF metadata (camera, time, GPS)

AI content credentials (like C2PA, ContentAuth, etc.)

āœ… Fully browser-based — no uploads

āœ… No tracking or analytics

āœ… No sign-up, 100% free

I built it because I realized how many images still carry private or AI-origin metadata when we share them online, even screenshots or AI-generated art. Thought it might be helpful for journalists, creators, and privacy-focused users.

Would love your thoughts — is this useful to you? Any suggestions for features?
