AI Text Explainer Wordpress Plugin
I’ve just released a WordPress plugin called WP AI Text Explainer. It lets visitors highlight any text on your site and get an explanation via a custom tooltip powered by AI (OpenAI or Claude).
You can:
• Control which content is selectable
• Customise the wording, style, and behaviour of the tooltip
• Choose your preferred AI model and edit the prompt
• API keys are encrypted and never exposed
• Meet accessibility standards (fully keyboard- and screen-reader friendly)
This works well for:
• Educational content or online courses
• Technical documentation or help sites
• Blogs and articles with complex terms or references
• Product pages that need extra clarity without clutter
