I’m the Founder and CEO of SagaLabs, and we hope that SagaLabs’ translations can help save time and effort in your workflow. In the future, we aim to build an AI native all-language platform, using human-like translations. We want creators to be able to create in their native language, while consumers can enjoy content in theirs. Our goal is to truly bridge cultural and language barriers, allowing single-language creators to earn from the global market.
Thank you all for your support! 🥰🥰🥰

It Iooks super promising! It reminds me of that classic idea: you get what you want by helping others get what they want. By helping creators make money through efficient localization of their writing, you're doing exactly that. Super cool!
@dmtrh Thanks! 😝
Yes, during our previous market research, we discovered that local authors have a hard time promoting their work. And because of language barriers, they either have to pay for expensive human translations or rely only on readers who speak their native language.
That’s why we wanted to build this platform—to help any creator, even if they only speak one language, reach a global audience and make money from it.
@xiaoyi_liu1
Yes, and the current auto-generated translations without human input are pretty baaad 😅 I'm so happy you're creating something better. I really hope your project gets the attention it deserves! Keep building, make a difference in the world :)
i just hate all those BS translate tools, with their poor performance and unreasoanble price. but sagalabs is just the game changer, you should all definitely try it and see how the words are humanized and localized!
@stainlu Thx for the high praise! Yes, we've also noticed these issues in the translation field, especially with long texts, literature, and stories, where these problems become more apparent. We'll continue to optimize and iterate!🥰

@sylvia_sheng Hh, we derived this result through systematic evaluation using the MQM system. You can try it out to see if it meets your needs🥰. If you encounter any issues during the process, please feel free to give us feedback anytime!
Congrats on the launch! This sounds like a dream for writers looking to expand their reach. How does SagaLabs’ AI adapt to different writing styles or tones? And can it also help generate content on the same topic but tailored for different platforms or purposes?
@christy_kk Thanks! We simulate and reinforce the human translation process by first identifying the type, tone, key events, characters, idioms, and slang in the original text. However, we haven't yet released a feature tailored for different platforms, but that's a brilliant suggestion! I believe it would be very useful for our users, and we'll consider rolling it out soon.
Thanks again!🥰
@gabor_kriston Hi Gabor, great question! We use an agent-based architecture that first identifies idiomatic expressions, cultural references, and context-specific terms in the story. Once identified, the system ensures these elements are translated as accurately as possible while preserving their cultural significance. This way, we strive to keep the original flavor of the story intact in different languages!
Let me know if you'd like more details! 😊
@blueeon You can give it a try and see if it truly meets your needs hh🥰. If you encounter any issues or are not satisfied with the translation results, feel free to contact us and provide feedback at any time!
@xiaoyi_liu1 benchmarking with which languages? Topic? Text length? I have been using DeepL with great satisfaction, and I need to see some concrete proof instead of just a number.
@umberto_abbatantuono We selected texts of around 5,000 words from novels, blogs, scripts, and other content (novels were a bit longer). Since our team includes a linguist fluent in four languages, our initial testing was based on four languages: Chinese, Spanish, English, and French.
Congrats on the launch! I was a heavy user of translating tools. But I always feel that they cannot translate my content to the native level of my target languages. With SagaLabs, I would be able to cut my budget on hiring translators or hiring new writers to create new content. Wonderful! Can't wait to try how it works!
@bonvisions Great question! While ChatGPT excels at broader translation works, we focuses on more-contextualized translations, especially for stories(web novels, etc). Our goal is to empower creators with precise translations that capture the tone and style of the original text, making it easier for their works to resonate with a global audience. 😊
Congratulations on the launch 🎉
Would love to try it. I've tried translating a Gujarati Story into English in the past but the result is always sub par. It doesn't convey the same emotions as the original language for many obvious reasons.
@ashitvora Hah, feel free to give it a try~ and you can also share it with our community so more people can experience it (if you like). And If you run into any bugs along the way, feel free to let us know anytime.
Bravo! I've tested the Chinese translation and found that when I omitted some logical connectors like 'then' and 'because,' I could still get the right translation I want. This was a big surprise, as the translation tools I used before often gave me headaches with sentence segmentation. Congratulations!
@moumen_hamid Hope it helps! If it doesn’t work well for you, feel free to reach out to me anytime.
BTW, best of luck with your soon-to-launch product!
Congratulations @victorzh to the team on the launch! This AI-powered translation tool seems incredibly useful for creators aiming to reach a global audience. Translating into 200+ languages with native-expert quality is impressive. However, does it also handle cultural nuances effectively? Excited to see how it transforms storytelling!
@victorzh@jai_singhal Thanks! Yes, we strive to simulate and reinforce the human translation process to ensure that more details are well-preserved, such as tone, style, idioms, slang, and key events from the original text.
