IndieReq is a minimal-setup user feedback board built specifically for indie developers to get feedback quickly so they know what to build & ship. Sign up for FREE, create a board, and start getting requests, upvotes, and comments from your users!
My name is Aydin Joshi (x.com/ajships), and I am a 13 year old indie developer looking to make the world a better place with my SaaS products.
For my first ever product launch, I decided to build a tool that I myself will use for all of my projects: a feedback board for my users to submit feature requests for my product.
I think of myself as being in the "Just Ship It" camp, and so my key is to ship the MVP quickly, followed by getting feedback from your users and implementing on those. When looking for a tool to help me with this, I found products like Canny and Upvoty. The issue: they were too complex for my small scale indie projects and built more for large startups/enterprises.
So I decided to build IndieReq to help me get user feedback for my projects. I hope that it helps you just as much as it does for me.
I am looking for any feedback or thoughts on the product!
As an early-bird customer using this platform, I can confirm that it really does help to solve a real world problem. This could be a game changer in the dev space!
I was about to build a similar feature into my app, but AJ gave me early access to test this application. So instead of building something similar for one app, I have integrated this into all 3 of my live applications. I will never ship with out adding this simple integration. What would have taken hours for a single application, was done for 3 in about 20 min total.
Aydin, this is super impressive — IndieReq nails that sweet spot between simple enough to use and powerful enough to matter. Feels like something every solo dev will keep pinned.
Curious: as feedback starts rolling in and indie devs hit questions around interpreting or acting on it, how do you plan to support them in real time? That moment of “what now?” is a big one.
We’re launching something soon on PH too — called Exthalpy, a live AI video agent to help users take action the moment they’re stuck. Would love your support when we go live 🙌
Keep shipping — rooting for you,
Udit (fellow PH builder)
Let me know if you'd like a clean sheet with all your comments organized for easy reference or social repurposing.
@udit_akhouri Hey man! Glad to hear how IndieReq could help you out! The plan is to integrate GPT into the application so the dev dashboard can give roadmaps/plans based on requests, upvotes, comments etc. Let me know if you have any questions and I will definitely check your product out! Aydin
@steven_watkins1 Thanks for your insight! To answer your question: although we don't have this feature available just yet, we have been receiving feedback from our early users at indiereqboard.indiereq.com to implement this so consider it Coming Soon!
@IndieReq Please check the link to navigate the user to the dashboard after successfully subscribing. In my case, after I subscribed to the platform using the free trial, I wasnt able to navigate to the main dashboard when I clicked the "Go to Dashboard" button in the success modal

This looks cool I cant wait to check it out when I get home. Can you bring your own URL so I can integrate it into a subdomain on my own site?
