Hello fellow hunters, Thank you for stopping by to have a look at Razorpay’s Payment Pages. I’m one of the co-founders of Razorpay and I would like to give a quick overview of Payment Pages. I have worked closely with the team building Payment Pages and I can safely say that we are on our way to solving the problem we set out to address -- allowing businesses or institutions to accept payments without a website or technical integration. Here’s what I like the most about Payment Pages: * No coding required to ship a payment page * Add your branding to a payment page * Choose from several templates * Accept payments instantly through various payment modes * Use custom URLs to include your business or brand * Real-time insights and reports to track payments Few important use cases we have already during beta: - Fee collection for educational institutions - Online sales for product manufacturers - Donation collections for NGOs and trusts - Event ticket sales for artists and organisers I would urge you to take a look at the product webpage. We have built the product with a lot of passion and would love to have your feedback on it. Since you’re here, we would like to help you get started with Payment Pages. We’ll forgo our fees on your transactions up to Rs 1 lakh. You can avail this credit by using the coupon code “PHUNT” if you wish to sign up and use the product. Happy to answer any questions. @shashank_kr This is a great addition to Razorpay. Does it support subscriptions as well?
Shashank Kumar
@spandana_govindgari Hi Spandana We tackle subscription related problems via our subscription product - https://razorpay.com/subscriptions. Please do check it out. Right now, Payment Pages is suitable for one time payments.

@shashank_kr Hi Shashank, Happy to see the Razorpay's payment pages over here! I'm one of the beta user and I wish, if I'd have not joined the Razorpay earlier so as to avail the "PHUNT" code. But I'm sure you'll offer something similar to early adopters. 🙂🙂
Kishore Sahoo
@shashank_kr when it allow to send invoice in USD from dashboard ? I am waiting for it :)

@shashank_kr Umm… did you folks copy/pasted Stripe's design? That doesn't look good at all. Especially from a payments company that people want to trust. Giving them a reason like that is a big NO-NO. Some honest feedback for your design team to consider switching away from a ditto-copy of Stripe's design. By saying that, I don't want to undermine all the good work and effort you folks put into all of this. Peace! ✌️
mightyalex
Which countries do you support (besides India)?
Sriram Raja
Hey @mightyalex, we are a payment gateway based out of India. We currently support Indian businesses only.
Youssef Selkani
@sriram_raja1 well this is the first thing you should put on your landing page
Sriram Raja
@usfslk Thanks for the feedback! We'll note this.
Miss Rant
@sriram_raja1 @usfslk Exactly. Put that at the top: INDIAN BUSINESSES ONLY.
Conrad Ehinger
@mightyalex @sriram_raja1 Are there plans to expand this anytime soon? Thanks!

We've used it at the Internet Freedom Foundation to setup different donation/support landing pages.

Pros:

Super easy to setup and use. Allowing non-technical to people manage and edit these pages is a huge timesaver.

Cons:

Does what it says on the box. Will only get better as more templates and use cases are covered.

Sriram Raja
Thank you for the feedback. We will definitely try to take your inputs forward. In fact, we are already working on improving the templates and the use-cases. Also, we feel proud in doing our bit to support free internet.
Vaibhav Sisinty
Dayum! Razorpay going Instamojo way. Good luck folks!
Shashank Kumar
@vaibhavsisinty We built this with the intention of serving our customers who are looking to collect payments without any technical integrations. We see a lot of ngo donations, school/college fee collections, event ticket collections etc. and a variety of different use cases. Do try and give feedback on the product.
Md Numan Anwer

The product and pricing is really attractive. Should try once.

Pros:

Easy to integrate and awesome support

Cons:

Should include subscription in multiple currencies

Shashank Kumar
Thanks for the review. Multi-currency is part of the roadmap and will soon be live.
Ashwin Karthik

Using this at Kreatryx and we now find it really easy to collect payment in installments from our users.

Pros:

Easy access to all payment modes

Cons:

Should add the option to accept international payments

Shashank Kumar
@rohit_nitin_joshi Thanks for the review. International payments via cards are fully supported and happening on the platform. We will also soon have support for multi-currency on Payment Pages.

That's a wonderful addition. I would request a multi-currency add-on. I believe many start-ups would need it and only two payment gateways in India allow INR and USD both to be accepted. Also one of the payment gateway of that is an Indian gateway, so it is possible. Thanks.
Sriram Raja
@sourabh_welling Thank you. We would going with live multiple currencies soon.
Shashank Kumar
@sourabh_welling We already support multi-currency on payment gateway. For Payment Pages, multi-currency will go live soon.
Sourabh Welling
@shashank_kr Awesome, I didnt know about it, we can send invoice or payment link in USD and received payment in INR ?
Sriram Raja
@shashank_kr @sourabh_welling We will be having that functionality on payment links soon. We'll let you know when that is live :)
Sumeet Mahendra

I've been using the Razorpay Payment Pages since past couple of months as a beta user. But lil disappointed with high failure rate and no auto currency conversion feature.

Pros:

It's damn simple and fast to publish the first payment page. Plus, it also accepts multiple currencies.

Cons:

They serisouly need to work on the high failure rates (or risk issue).

Ashwin Karthik

Baidhurya Mani
Payment pages look awesome and I am eagerly waiting for it to support USD payments so that I can make a switch to Razorpay. One feedback for Payment Pages design/customization. For USD payments, only supported method is Cards. So, when a user enters his/her email and phone on a payment page and click on the pay button, the popup would open with their email and phone prefilled. But the user would still need to click on the Pay with Card button in order to go to the next step in the checkout popup. It would be awesome if we can take the user directly to the second step for international payments since all the required information is prefilled in this case. This will improve the checkout flow a lot. It would be even more awesome if we could get rid of the checkout popup altogether and the users could enter the card details on the page itself without clicking the pay button.
Sriram Raja
Hello @baidhurya_mani , thanks for the sharp input. Simplifying user experience is the way to go! I'll jot this one down as a feature request :)
Vinod Kumar
@baidhurya_mani First off, thank you so much for taking the time to write this feedback for Payment Pages. This is a great suggestion and we’ll surely be making optimizations like these to make the checkout flow even better. Looking forward to seeing you start using Razorpay Payment Pages!
Baidhurya Mani
@sriram_raja1 Thanks for taking note. Just to add to it. The payment pages aren't well optimized for mobile. The user needs to click the pay button in order to see the fields which is an extra step. It might make sense to move the customer info fields above the product information on the payment pages on mobile. Something for you guys to think about :)
Sriram Raja
@baidhurya_mani This is part of our to-do list of sorts. We've also had other merchants who want some other variants of this. Certainly, the next versions will have more improvements on this front. Thanks again!
Ashutosh Cheulkar
Great timing, Razorpay! This is just the solution my friends and I were looking for our new startup, will definitely check this out. @udayan_walvekar - I have a couple of questions though. 1. How can I avail the offer? 2. Are these payment pages mobile responsive? Since majority of our traffic comes from mobile.
Akash Chatterjee
Nice! This is exactly the solution we needed. I mean, it so difficult to accept payments without having a website and sometimes that can become a huge hinderance. My website keeps on crashing (please help me find a new tech guy) and my payments keep on getting interrupted, this seems like a quick fix to my problems. @udayan_walvekar, would just like to know how i could integrate my branding onto this page? Could you please help me out with that?
Sriram Raja
@akash_chatterjee Your logo will be automatically integrated into the payment page when you sign up. Additionally, you can also add your own images in the template.
Denis Shershnev
Congrats on lunch @shashank_kr ! Great work!

@eulerr Thanks!

Beautiful design

Pros:

Slick UI !

Sriram Raja
I will pass this on to the design team!
Archit Garg

Failure rate for International cards is as high as 50%. Does it make sense?

Pros:

Very smooth and great UI

Cons:

Failure rates is pathetically high for International payments

Sriram Raja
Thanks for the inputs. Totally agree with you there, success rate is 'that' metric that the whole org. keeps a close eye on. We are constantly working with all players in the ecosystem to throttle success rates.
Ashwin Karthik

Kishore Sahoo
does not support USD out of box. You need to use their API for it. Also it only allows to create invoice only in INR not in USD. :(
Shashank Kumar
@kish2011_ Hey Kishore This is part of the roadmap and will be supported in future.
Shubhankar Kahali
This is so cool, my love for Razorpay has just doubled with this.
