Hey Y'all! My name is John, I'm one of the Co-founders of Pangea.app, and I'm really excited to share what we've been building! We hope Pangea will resonate with people who have tried using traditional freelance platforms in the past but experienced the misalignments in incentives and want a better alternative. The large mark-ups on all paid invoices, the limitations in converting to full-time teammates, and the general sketchiness on both sides of these marketplaces are things we want to address at Pangea. By charging companies an annual membership to join the network instead of commission fees and off-boarding fees, we can promote better platform dynamics for both talent and companies. As a startup, we've experienced the benefits of working with talent on a contract-to-hire basis. It's a great way to learn if the working relationship is a good fit for both sides. the product looks great. right vision that the community needs. can an agency connect with startups too?

I started using Pangea in 2020 for small projects here and there throughout the pandemic. After graduation in 2021, I used it to build and scale my full-time freelance business. I've now made over $100k on Pangea alone. Quite literally, my career wouldn't be where it is today without the product. Killer product. (and an even better team)

I love the new look and feel of the platform and will always love being a part of this community. Congratulations!

Congrats on the re-launch! Great thinking. After spending many tens of thousands of dollars on contracts with TopTal, I'd love to explore alternate options that aren't percentage based commissions (and where the talent gets most of the money).

I downloaded Pangea a year ago and it has changed my life ever since! It has given me tons of opportunities to develop my professional career. Beautifully designed and very easy to use! I love the new commission-free aspect which distinguishes it from other freelance platforms that charge a fat 20% fee. I would recommend it to everyone!! Congratulations on this new launch!

Way to go on the relaunch! Also, just curious: what industries do you all plan will be the most popular to connect with on here? I know there have been multiple success stories of college students and post-grad individuals finding great work, and am wondering what the most influential industries will be!

Pangea has been instrumental in developing my freelance client base, gaining confidence and building my skills, and connecting with other like-minded students and alumni. Happy to be a part of the community!

I like it so far; My one nitpick is, for the default images for projects, maybe have more than one variation on the default image. An agent/recruiter is so busy, they may think that it's the same project posted twice and not look further.

Excellent Website. I was able to find a flexible gig in no time. The website design is well crafted, and provides a seamless user experience. Looking forward for many more years using Pangea to find gigs and more.
