I am sure about others, but I don't think auto generated logo makers have a future. I have tried Canva's logo maker too. I am never happy with the results.

@moseleyelma Thanks. Automatic logo generators probably are not suitable for every company, but I think there sure is a large group of people that just want a logo and can't afford to hire a designer. Could you tell me more about what you're missing from Canva's logo maker for example?

@moseleyelma Cash strapped small businesses can definitely use themas a start. I see them us much worse logos that they create themselves.Something like www.logojoy.com or www.logopony.com is a much better alternative.

This honestly seems like yet another attempt to push out a paid product that does not provide value. Website and design flow are decent but this isn't a product, its a side tool just like the Shopify and Squarespace generators. Results are not unique. Looks like its generated with Google Fonts and Font Awesome. It's overpriced, I would personally never pay that much for theresult generated.

might be useful for a lot of small businesses, but it's certainly not "professional logo design"

I'm sure there is a market for this... I'm just not sure for who. Maybe my mom who is looking to start her own business and not wanting to hire a designer and just wants something "basic". The site is super easy to use and is extremely responsive which is awesome to see.

@unclejessy4real regarding the target market: yes, moms, freelancers, side-project maintainers, yoga teachers, that's the target group I think. And thank you! I built everything responsively from the get go, so that it also works nicely on mobile.

How is it different from all the other logo generator products? Almost exactly the same flow, but less aesthetic result.

@huangdun it differentiates from other logo makers in that the design algorithms are more refined: - colors are not picked from presets but are carefully calculated - gradients always look nice - you can apply effects to add an even more personalized feel - shapes are user-adjustable instead of being static templates (Smart Shapes) - you can change the corner type of many shapes to create a unique feel - positioning of text and symbols is more balanced - you don't have to sign up to see your results, only when you want to save your logo Of course, some generated logos will be a bit off or unbalanced. But I will continuously update and tweak the algorithms to make sure to aesthetically stay ahead of the competition.

@huangdun that is a really good question. For now I just listen to every piece of feedback that I get and slowly adjust accordingly to get it just right. What do you think? Too many options or is it OK for you?

@monokai I think it depends on how you define a good logo. Is a good logo that put everything the user like together? Or is a good logo that's selected from a pool of well designed logo? Or is a good logo that's anything better than what the user currently have?

@lucabobbio It's all Javascript, client and server side, a lot of custom code and a lot of math 😄 And some libraries to convert vector to rasterized files.

It's more than I could ask for. I'm sometimes working on a side project and I didn't want to spend time creating a logo. This tool gave me plenty of ideas to start from. Not sure if I would buy anything, because I'm skilled with Photoshop and I worked as a web designer many years ago, but I could see why someone who doesn't know design would pay $50 to get all the good stuff for ALL their profiles. Actually been thinking to do that myself just out of laziness. If they would've also created the profiles for me, I would have paid :))

Thanks. Yes, I still have to find a balance between customizations options and the amount of controls. Some people like it, some don't. Maybe a basic and advanced mode would help?

The logos are too generic, the same design as you'd get from any 100% free logo maker but this one charges you 50$ per logo.

Maybe try to get the customer to select different parameters like their audience and service info and categorize the graphic assets based on those parameters rather than just words. I think that would make the content curation process more accurate.

Pros:

This is a good and quick solution for new and very small business.

Cons:

The results are very, very bare bones, very inaccurate results. There are many similar solutions already out.
