Hi Product Hunters! I’m Konstantin, Product Manager of Molku 👋
Our team is thrilled to share what we’ve built.
😠 The problem
Anyone who works with documents still spends hours copying data from one file into another: CV into spreadsheets, quotes into proposals, contracts into summaries. It’s boring, error-prone, and scales badly.
😮💨 Why existing tools don’t help
OCR can read text, but it doesn’t know which numbers you need or where they belong. “Template builders” let you design a form, but they won’t pull data from an incoming PDF or scan. So people keep copy-pasting.
🚀 The Molku way
We keep it stupid-simple:
Upload Source File — a real document with data (invoice.pdf, scan.jpg, whatever).
Upload Output Template — a PDF or Google Sheet where that data should go.
Tick the fields you care about. Need to tweak a value? Add a quick prompt like “+10 %” or “date → YYYY-MM-DD”.
Drag each field once if it’s a PDF template, then hit Run.
That’s it.
Next time you drop a similar file, Molku fills the template in seconds. No code, no macros, no copy-paste.
💡 Typical wins
Marketing teams turn spreadsheet stats into branded PDFs every Friday.
Finance pulls totals from supplier invoices straight into their Sheet.
Legal drops key clauses from contracts into a summary PDF for review.
🔑 What’s live today
PDF ↔ PDF or Google Sheets
Images, scans, Word, Excel as sources
Field-level AI tweaks (math, text replace, translate)
Zapier & Make integrations

Huge congratulations on the launch! This looks incredibly useful! 🔥 The handwritten text recognition is a killer feature – how does the AI handle messy or low-quality handwriting? Also, any plans to add direct Notion integration in the future?
@abbas143official Molku does great with handwritting 😌 (even phone-camera shots and light smudges). The only case it still struggles with are those “even-a-human-can’t-read-this” scribbles.
As for the Notion. You can already push data to Notion through Zapier/Make, but a native connector isn’t off the table. We build integrations in the order users ask for them. If you (and others) need direct Notion support, give us a shout and we’ll move it up the roadmap.
@vladimir_tambovtsev 🙏 Thank you for the congratulations! Our team has been quietly polishing Molku for months, and support like yours means a lot to us. Which feature are you most curious to try first in Molku? 🤔 Your answer will help us decide what to refine next.
I literally just spent 2 hours yesterday copying invoice data into our expense tracker. The "boring, error-prone, and scales badly" part hits way too close to home...
Quick question - does it handle messy scans well? Sometimes our vendors send barely readable PDFs and I'm curious how it performs with those.
Definitely trying this out for our monthly reporting! Thanks for building something that actually solves real problems 👏
@tomtomw Thank you for the comment and the concrete example 😁🙏
Regarding your question - yes, Molku handles this well. We have tested it with many document types, scans, and even handwritten notes. Just mark the exact fields you need, and Molku will take it from there.
If anything is unclear, feel free to reach out in the live chat. We will gladly answer any question and help with the setup.
One quick check: am I right that you are moving data from PDFs into Google Sheets?
@dmitry_bergelson Thanks for the comment! Molku supports over 100 languages, so there usually aren’t any major limitations, but we’d need to look at your specific use-case.
Could you tell me a bit more about your scenario? 🙂
Explored Molku AI and I must say—it's a brilliant solution! The ability to autofill PDFs and Google Sheets from various sources is a huge time-saver. I especially loved the field-level AI tweaks and support for handwritten text—super innovative. Big congrats on the Product Hunt launch!
Just logged into Molku and the upload → workflow flow is refreshingly straightforward. I mean dragging a PDF, doc, or even a phone-snap straight into a structured data pipeline feels like magic for anyone. 🚀
A few ideas while I kick the tires:
Template mapping library: will you ship pre-built invoice/quote/receipt blueprints so new users can skip the field-mapping grind?
Confidence flags: surfacing low-OCR-confidence cells (think skewed scans or multi-column tables) would help teams review before pushing to downstream systems.
API/Zapier hook: a webhook that triggers once Molku finishes extraction could slot neatly into Bubble, Airtable, or an email parser.
If the first run matches the promise, Molku might finally retire my copy-paste marathon 😄.
Template-mapping library: it’s already on our backlog and could well be the next feature we tackle.
Confidence flags: noted—we’ll add it to the roadmap for an upcoming release.
API / Zapier hooks: live today. Molku is listed on Zapier and Make, and you can also integrate through our REST API or receive files via webhook.
If you need help getting set up, just ping us in the live chat. We’re happy to walk you through the process and explore how Molku can fully automate your workflow.
Quick question: which document types do you usually move data between?
