Hi there PH people. Manu here, co-creator of this tiny little website called mnmllist. The goal was to have fun while listing all things minimal. There's nothing super duper fancy or revolutionary behind the site but if you have questions feel free to ask. Happy clicking. Cheers, Manu

@manuelmoreale What about having an option / field for people to submit stuff?
Manuel Moreale
@abadesi We thought about that but we wanted to keep it super minimal at launch. Mnmllist went from idea to live in less than a couple of days and we (well I) decided to not have a form/email. Site is run by me and my partner in crime @carlbarenbrug so if you or anybody else want to submit something you can get in touch with one of us via twitter or email ;)
Manuel Moreale
@abadesi Quick follow up to let you know we now have an email people can submit products to. I updated the site just a moment ago. We also have a new quick menu since the list has grown quite rapidly in the past few days.

Love the simple design and how you keep each list to 3 products/recommendations max.
Manuel Moreale
@justinckwong the limit of 3 products is a fun one to have. It's a soft limit because if you find your way and access the single list page there you'll find all the listed products. But it's a nice way to think at lists. Plus, it forces us to branch more and make more focused lists rather than have one giant list with dozen of products.

Nicely executed as per always. But personally, with minimalism, I kinda think photography is key, as per — https://www.producthunt.com/post...
Manuel Moreale
@chewx That was also something we considered but finding good images is very time consuming and as mentioned above we wanted to ship fast. Plus, I personally find the whole concept of clicking on a link with very few initial inputs quite intriguing. You know that the guy who selected the product has a particular taste and so you kinda know what to expect but you can also be surprised.
Iftach
Please tell me that it's open source 🙏
Manuel Moreale
@iftach I don't know what you mean by that. This is just a fun little side project my friend Carl and I are curating because we like this sort of things. If you want access to the source code you can get in touch with me and we can work something out ;)

Honestly have fallen in love with this website, my exact aesthetic nicely curated. Looking forward to using this
Manuel Moreale
@mrteale Well thanks. The site is growing quickly and some categories are easier to fill than others but Carl is doing an excellent job with the curation. I just drop a like here and there.

Since it's a site about minimalism, why not at least remove those borders :)
Manuel Moreale
@haoyangnz Weeeeeell I'm not a super duper fan of the borders but at the same time without them, things look a bit chaotic. Plus I'm a fan of the dark version and there the borders are barely visible ;)

Hey @manuelmoreale - This looks awesome. However, I would love to create my own list. Though it may not be anything "super duper fancy" or "revolutionary", this can help people become more organized and productive, in a simplistic and aesthetically pleasing form. Any thoughts on allowing people to set up their own personalized list?
Manuel Moreale
@dewayneroyj thanks for the kind words. As for custom lists, that's sadly not something that's going to happen since the whole point behind the site is that it's curated by Carl and myself.
