Big thanks to @oleg_illarionov for hunting us! 😍 I am about to introduce you to another language App but… NOT ON MY WATCH 🙊 Marq - nextgen e-learning language app. Duolingo-type apps are popular among users and without doubt bring language benefits to users, but not as effectively as it could be. Why? Because all the amazing features they offer are not connected with each other and the material given is out of context. Mostly, users learn the language to communicate with other people, but are unable to because language without context is just a bunch of words. That’s where Marq comes in! 🥳 You can expect: 🦾 Highly engaging lessons in the form of a chat with friendly robot Marq. Practice with exercises and effective homework to better remember the material you have learned. 🏋️‍♂️ Practice words from the lessons and learn new ones easily with the help of the vocabulary trainer. Tasks become more and more difficult until you finally remember the new word. 🧞‍♂️ Receive smart push notifications with words from the lessons so you can remember them even better. The words appear based on previous lessons, homework and trainer sessions. 🧑‍🏫 Every 7 lessons discuss the material learned with the teacher in the format of effective 15 minute calls right in the app! The teacher gets information about the lessons you’ve learned and your knowledge gaps. You can discuss the things you ’ve learnt or didn't understand. Improve your speaking skills and revise the material learnt! All our features are united to help you effectively learn any language. 🧬 Marq currently supports 2 languages for learning: English and Spanish but very soon we are introducing French, Italian, German and also English for Latin America users. Our team consists of several incredibly awesome methodologists with over 10 years of teaching experience who create truly useful not blueprint content. Now we have already implemented chat lessons and the vocabulary trainer. Smart push notifications are being prepared for release and the development of the teachers calls feature is in progress. Marq is still in its early stages but with your help and feedback we can truly build the ultimate language practicing platform. @p_m4 Thank you! It depends a lot on your pace ofc and is almost impossible without speaking. With the speaking feature we are soon to introduce in Marq it will be take 6- to 8 months to progress from B2 to C1!

Congratulations! Wow! It really works, and does it great! I’m a bit sceptical about app-way of learning foreign languages, but this idea and its filling inspire me to try this app in oder to up my skills (I love memes more than English, I’m sorry ahaha). And this cute e-boy Marq is amusing. You’ve done a great case of how nowadays trends of teaching could work on practice. @nastya_shipilova Thank you Nastya! Our key point is context. Grammar rules and words out of context can not make you speak the language. We teach in a chat, as if speaking with a friend, use situational methodology and true to life language. Besides, the unique feature is 15 minute sessions with teachers based on lessons passed will help users to actually USE the words and grammar they learn, not just remember.
