Hey everyone! ๐
Iโm Jasmin โ a junior vibe coder learning to build in public.
Lovaround started as a weekend project with my boyfriend (whoโs teaching me Lovable ๐), and nowโฆ itโs live!
We built it to help makers find each other โ for real.
Let us know what you think, and donโt forget to pin yourself on the map ๐
๐ https://lovaround.com
Happy to answer any questions or ideas! ๐
Yes โ actually, the maker pins are publicly visible and indexed, so over time they can contribute to SEO!
We designed Lovaround to be a real, live network โ not just a signup wall โ so when someone pins themselves, theyโre not just โin the systemโโฆ theyโre visible to the world ๐ (unless they choose to hide their profile).
Thereโs no ad tracking or anything like that, but the visibility might help with organic discovery, backlinks, or even collabs from unexpected corners of the internet โจ
Really appreciate the question โ weโre just getting started so ideas like this help us shape where Lovaround goes ๐
Cool idea! But I ran into an issue after signing up. I couldn't fill in my email address, so I wasn't able to complete the final step. Seems like it might be a bug.
Congrats on the launch. This is an interesting idea, and I already submitted my profile to Lovaround. Looking forward to seeing more developers, designers, or anyone with excellent skills!
@cichykrzysztof Yes โ we actually saw FoundersAround too (cool idea btw!).
What weโre trying with Lovaround is a slightly different vibe: less directory, more human map. Something more playful, visual, and open โ where people can instantly see whoโs out there, without even signing up.
Weโre also thinking in public about features that go beyond just location โ like tags, discovery by vibe/stack/stage, or async ways to spark conversations ๐ฌ
Totally appreciate the comparison though โ the world definitely needs more ways for builders to connect.
Huge respect for what you built with FoundersAround โ it clearly resonated with a lot of people (us included!).
Lovaround actually started as a fun weekend experiment to see how fast we could build something feel-good and useful using @Lovable โ which made it insanely easy to get something live, fast. Seriously, your work inspired us โ and Lovable enabled us ๐
As for the plan:
Weโre keeping it lightweight and playful for now, focusing on the vibe-first experience โ helping builders find each other visually, with a sense of presence and serendipity. But weโre listening closely to what the community wants, and already thinking about filters, async hangouts, tags by skills/tools, and more.
Thanks for stopping by โ and congrats again for having sparked so many ideas through your own project ๐
So the globe itself is a community where we can find resources to build what's being planned? since i have login all details to join the community but i haven't seen any structured platform or group for it.
First of all, thank you for joining the Lovaround map ๐
Right now, the globe is mostly a playful experiment โ a way to visualize whoโs building with Lovable and spark unexpected connections between vibe coders.
But you're absolutely right โ it could evolve into something more structured: a shared space with resources, discussions, collaborations, maybe even in-person meetups.
If you have ideas on how to shape it into a real community platform, Iโd love to hear them ๐
We love the idea of side events โ online or IRL. Right now weโre just focusing on getting the map filled with awesome peopleโฆ but community-driven meetups or hangouts are 100% on our radar ๐
Imagine spontaneous co-working sessions, city-based walks, or even async build weekends.
If you have ideas (or want to help shape this), letโs chat! ๐
The interface has such a welcoming aesthetic! How did you approach balancing visual appeal with functional simplicity in your design process? @lovaround_web
That was exactly the goal โ to design a space that feels functional yet welcoming, like a global map where indie devs and founders instantly feel at home.
We followed two core design principles:
Visual familiarity โ warm palette, playful yet readable typography, and a map-based layout to instantly spark a sense of global connection.
Simplicity over complexity โ every element had to earn its place. If it didnโt help you connect faster, it was removed.
Really happy that the vibe came through! Would love to hear any ideas you have for making it even better ๐

Will it also affect somehow SEO and AD when someone "register/pin" there? :)

@guanghuadavid thanks for letting us know! ๐
It definitely sounds like a bug (weโve seen it happen randomly on some browsers ๐).
We just pushed a quick fix โ could you try again and see if it works for you now? ๐ https://lovaround.com
If itโs still acting weird, feel free to DM me or drop a note here โ Iโll jump on it right away ๐ ๏ธ๐

A month ago, there was an identical project called FoundersAround

FoundersAround
Leo, FoundersAround founder here. Congrats on the launch! It's so great to see people launching websites inspired by one I created from scratch.
What's your plan with the platform?
