Hello Product Hunt!
We're excited to launch Lead Honestly today, and are looking forward to your feedback. Please feel free to leave any feedback here, and if you're interested, checkout out our introduction story at https://medium.com/lead-honestly....
Thanks!
@trevin I appreciate the feedback Trevin. If you don't mind, I'm curious, what would you consider a fair price and what are the prices of other services you mention?
Congrats on the launch, Shay & team!
This product is a gold mine. The questions end up being extremely helpful reminders week-to-week (and frankly, solid coaching). Highly recommended.
@shayhowe - I had absolutely loved the first book you wrote on Advanced CSS. I still refer it often. Will love to check this one out too. Keep up the good work! :)
@llabball Fair point, and thank you for the feedback. If it helps, all credit card transactions are processed securely, are PCI compliant, and never touch and are never stored on our backend.
I love the idea behind this! Very few organizations take the time to train their front-line supervisors in the craft of management. I was lucky enough to be an officer in the military and they spend literally years teaching you the technical aspects of leadership before you ever even start managing people. This does work, but it would work so much better if that knowledge was contextually delivered at the time you need it most. This is what you're doing and it's brilliant!
I second some other comments here about the credit card. On the subject of trust and trade... as a consumer, I expect to get something when I give something, and I expect the trade to be of equal value. If you give me a quality-looking landing page, some examples of positive user feedback, and it all comes from some founders I've heard of, then you've definitely earned the right to ask for my email address (the first step of trust). But you haven't quite yet earned the right to ask for my credit card. If I use your service for two weeks and really like it, particularly after a solid onboarding experience and I have become an engaged user that is seeing the value, then asking for my credit card is appropriate. You've even earned the right at that point in our relationship to spam me a few times with a sales pitch.
:-)
So far so good, loving the simplicity. Would like to be able to customize some questions though, a few questions don't really apply. Is that an option?
