New: API & SDK changes, session recordings, Twilio upgrades & more
We’ve just shipped some big updates to the Layercode private beta:

Redesigned Dashboard UI
We’ve refined the UI design of the dashboard for a more understated look, and made a number of small improvements to panels, controls and labels throughout the interface.
Session recordings
Recording is now available and enabled by default. Visit any session in an agent and play back the recording, alongside the logs. You can also download a .wav for the recording. Session Recording can be disabled/enabled in settings.
Audio quality improvements
Solved several client buffering issues and improved interruption handling for all agents powered by Layercode.
Twilio integration improvements
You can now assign multiple phone numbers to an agent. You can also now identify callers using the webhooks from_phone_number and to_phone_number.
New webhook events
The `session_end` webhook event is called when the user disconnects or hangs up from their session/call.
The `session_update` webhook event is triggered when the status of the session recording changes to completed (or failed). You can then fetch the recording wav file from the `recording_url`.
Thank to all of our beta testers for continuing to share their feedback and ideas! If you haven't signed up but want to try building low-latency voice AI agents with Layercode, sign up at layercode.com and we'll send you an invite to join the beta :)
