I think that in some way, we will be using avatars not only in the VR or AR space but maybe they will be holograms in the real world.
@busmark_w_nika , that's a super interesting point about holograms! 🤯 I totally agree that AI avatars are going to go way beyond just VR/AR. The potential for real-world interaction is mind-blowing. It really makes you think about how we'll define 'real' in the future, right? Have you seen how fast HeyGen developing their avatars, the last update is that you can literally tell what emotine, or for example whispering, to use for avatar.
What are your thoughts on the ethical implications of hologram avatars?

I remember that someone once r*aped women in VR. There will be a lot of people who maybe assault holograms and commit some kind of crime not physically (directly) hurt someone but it will be thin ice to skate on.

Fellow geek here! I work in podcasting and am constantly talking to podcasters interested in getting their show on YouTube but don't want to step infront of a camera - which, understandable. I always preach the power of AI avatars to these creators. Even if it is just the crappy Zoom ones, it's a start.

Even more - if a person whant to be sucessful expert, or entepreneur - the reality is that he/she has to show off on social media. And video content is a must nowadays. AI avatars are absolutely a game-changer for those who are camera-shy! Even those 'crappy Zoom ones' are a start, as you said! It's all about making content creation more accessible and less intimidating.
