Hey PH, I’m Jakub 👋
I’m a Polish builder who loves taking messy information and turning it into something calm and useful. I grew up in a family of doctors, which probably explains my habit of asking “ok, but what actually helps the person in front of me?” before I design anything.
I’ve spent the last few years bouncing between design, content, and code: shipping small things, sunsetting a few, and learning to enjoy the unglamorous parts: naming, edge cases, and deleting features that looked smart on paper but didn’t help anyone. I’m at my best when I’m close to users, iterating fast, and writing clear copy.
Right now I’m building Pollar, a simple, AI-assisted way to see the full picture behind the news (web app; English + Ukrainian available). But this post is about me more than my project: I’m here to meet people who care about UX that reduces anxiety, not increases it; who like small feedback loops; and who don’t mind admitting what didn’t work. 🙂
Things I’m working on as a person:
Saying “no” earlier, so I can go deeper on fewer bets.
Shipping publicly even when it’s a bit rough.
Designing for trust over clicks.
If you’re building in media, civic tech, or just enjoy geeking out about product clarity, I’d love to connect. Drop a hello, tell me what you’re building, and I’ll happily trade notes. 🚀
