Hey Hunters!
I’m Assel, an aspiring iOS developer from Kazakhstan, startup founder, and former tech recruiter with international experience.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with global companies like Akvelon and Google, helping hire some of the best engineers around the world.
At some point, I realized I wanted to understand what it truly means to build a product from the ground up. That’s when I decided to change my path completely and dive into iOS development - starting from scratch.
Earlier this year, I was selected for the nFactorial Incubator - one of the most respected startup communities in the CIS, supported by Chevron.
The program opened new horizons for me and inspired the idea behind my very first product:
TailTrail — Lost Pet Finder
A solo project I’m building end-to-end: from architecture and code to marketing, analytics, and launch.
TailTrail helps people who’ve lost or found a pet. No more paper flyers or chaotic group chats, you can create a post in seconds, with a photo, description, and location.
The app automatically notifies nearby users, volunteers, and neighbors using AI and geolocation.
I’ve always wanted to build something meaningful, something that truly helps people.
Volunteering has long been part of my life, and I know many others feel the same way. That’s why TailTrail felt like the right place to start.
Right now, the app is under review in the App Store, and I can’t wait to share it with the world.
Thanks for stopping by, I’d love to hear your thoughts and support 🚀
