Hey Product Hunt, we’re excited to share Havoc Shield with you 👋 It’s Brian, Founder and CEO. Why Havoc Shield? 🛡 Because EVERY company needs to stop cyber attacks from taking down your business. As a small business exec tasked with not letting a ransomware attack take down the company I was working for, I could not find an affordable, easy-to-use cybersecurity program that didn’t require a PhD in cybersecurity. So we built one for you. Today, every size company is at risk of a cybersecurity or ransomware attack. Most cybersecurity companies only focus on enterprise size companies, charging massive costs and leaving smaller businesses to HOPE they don’t get attacked. Since it’s a matter of if, not when, EVERY size company will be attacked, we didn’t feel that was right. ⚠️Why Havoc Shield: Introducing the first all-in-one cybersecurity program built for small to midsized companies that grows with your business. ⚠️Key Features: Vulnerability Scans - Monthly checks on your endpoints to keep the bad guys out Password Manager - A fully-integrated best-in-class password manager to set the right password standards for your employees or consultants Antivirus and antimalware - Business-grade endpoint threat protection for both Windows and Mac environments Mail Armor - Let us check that phishy looking email and let you know if its ok to open Cyber awareness training - Arm your team or consultants on how to spot and avoid a lurking ransomware attack OS & Software patching - Don't worry about remembering to update devices, we do it for you Security Policy Manager - The attestation you need for insurance and infosec processes Guidance Assistant - We’ll walk you through set with a Google Chrome Extension ✅ Plus much more! 👉How do we do it? We’ve done the work for you, building proprietary security tools and finding best-in-breed ones to put them all in one central security dashboard. Launch your proactive cybersecurity efforts all in one place, and see the progress in real-time. Humans are the number one source of an attack happening at your business, and it doesn't matter how big or small you are, hackers don’t know who they try to expose. I built Havoc Shield because so many small businesses do not have anything in place to protect them, or think it won’t happen to them. We’ve made it affordable, and simple to start monitoring endpoints, conduct training, create infosec policies all without needing a security expert on staff. 👉 Who is this for? While we typically focus on financial services companies, any company under 250 employees is a perfect fit for Havoc Shield. If you know it is a matter of if, not when, an attack could take down your company: You could use Havoc Shield. If you use contractors and don’t know how secure their remote environment is, you could use Havoc Shield. If you are worried about ransomware or phishing emails but don’t know what resource will help, you could use Havoc Shield. If you are trying to secure a cybersecurity insurance policy, but can’t answer yes to the questions like “do you have MFA set up”, you could use Havoc Shield. If you are trying to win new business with a larger vendor but they send a security questionnaire asking about you security posture, you could use Havoc Shield. To summarize, Havoc Shield has done the homework to offer peace of mind so you can focus on the other parts of your business. 👉 What’s next? Cybersecurity is not a one-and-done item. You need to constantly stay on top of patching, new training and more. We’ve developed our product roadmap to include the most requested features by customers but also ones we know enhance a holistic security posture for your company. Check out our roadmap to see what is coming in 2022: 🔗Website:: https://havocshield.com 🔗Roadmap:: https://havocshield.com/roadmap 🔗LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company... Any questions? I’m here to help! Get started now, and get peace of mind that you can avoid a cybersecurity attack...you'll thank yourself later.

Congrats on the launch! I like how you think! You are really trying to solve the complex problem for your segment. Do you have any strategy around solving the main problem - why most of the companies just pretend to care about security and they likely to invest only in tooling.
Brian Fritton
@bogomep Thank you!! Yeah it's a big problem. We do have a strategy. Generally we think that a professional plan is required - that means tools, config, proof, and ongoing management - but that the security industry has made the a pretty hard thing to do for non-experts. Partially that's because the needs of small businesses and startups have largely been ignored. Yet they account for over half of all attacks and have for the last few years. Our strategy is to leverage the excellent work that's out there around how to prioritize and build a professional program, and use consumer-level design, language, and opinion to make it consumable at the "intern level". I also think it's important that things live in one place instead of all over the place. Vendor spread is expensive and KILLS adoption. Same with configuration and proof - not knowing if it's done or having to keep up a GRC or spreadsheets usually means those important elements quickly fall by the wayside given we all have roadmaps to get back to. So - Instead of just plugging into a bunch of existing stuff most small companies don't have yet or offering some sort of marketplace, we heavily negotiated strong relationships with a smaller set of partners and very tightly integrated them. We then built our own tools to make the orchestration of it all easier. That's a big piece a lot of people don't think about - how do I actually get my team to do the things they need to? How often should I remind them? Where do I track who did and didn't do it? When is it time to do that again? Our program tasks automate all that. Hope this helps explain! Here for followups, Bogomil!

I'd love also to see something around threat modeling in your roadmap. I love what you have planned for the future.
Brian Fritton
@bogomep For sure. We want to be real time and forward-facing with that. We actually construct a threat model we built with security pros behind the scenes based on a few things like your onboarding assessment, our own sensors that look at things like existence of your team accounts in data breaches, etc. and then provision the plan accordingly. We have plans to expose how that changes and grows and learns. That falls under the "Improved Program progress and maturity dashboard" work in the 2nd quarter of 2022.
