How do you handle cucumber season in your business? What do you usually focus on during this time?
Summer has begun, and that means most people are going on vacation, the work pace slows down, and many businesses experience a dry spell.
No one feels it more than marketers. 😀
How do you use the summer (aka cucumber 🥒) season, and how do you bridge this quiet period?
I usually use this time to create content for the months ahead.
I plan more/prepare strategic steps.
I invest in learning, travelling, and finding inspiration, so it still feels like something’s happening.
P.S. I’m already looking forward to that moment in September when everyone suddenly remembers they need to launch a million campaigns because all the holidays are coming up. 😅 Have a nice weekend!

I always wonder if July and August are good months for launches as there's less going on and media costs are lower if you're at that stage, so more chance to cut through with new products, however also less general available attention due to holiday season and the lull. Currently debating this for Meet-Ting!
@dbul Definitely the advertisement place is cheaper and you can try it. :) The best thing is to test.
@arvoantoni wait – is cucumber season and wild strawberry season exactly the same? :D
Haha I’ve never heard of it referred to as cucumber season…very apt! I think matching the seasonality and seasons of your customer can keep you from burning out. I agree about inspiration and it’s a good time to simply recharge.
@maggi_heneghan, what term do you use instead of 'cucumber season'? :D

@laura_cruickshanks Did you have any other terminology for that? :D
