How do you educate yourself and upskill your professional knowledge? + Opportunity [AI School]
There's one good saying that
"Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young."
This is so authentic, especially in the tech world, when everything changes so fast.
Do you somehow upgrade your qualification? (Maybe also even formally? e.g. after-graduate studies, etc.?)
My main sources of learning are currently:
ChatGPT ("surprisingly")
YouTube
Google Scholar
Anyway, I saw a post on LinkedIn:
Opportunity to attend AI School by @Y Combinator with collaboration with these guys: https://events.ycombinator.com/ai-sus
(They partially cover the costs.)
I will be happy if you share some good programs that help with lifelong learning in the comments. 👇

That quote really hits home. In tech, staying curious is everything. I try to keep learning through side projects, talking to other builders, and diving into new tools as they come out. ChatGPT has honestly become one of my main learning companions too.
Thanks for sharing the AI School opportunity. It looks solid. For anyone looking to level up, I’d also recommend Reforge for product and growth, and the DeepLearning.AI courses for AI fundamentals.
Would love to hear what others are using to stay sharp.

@abod_rehman Are you gonna apply? 👀
I took Andrew Ng's courses back when I was learning Data Science. He's incredible. I guess we're not far from AI taking a persons personality, voice, knowledge and replicating it completely.

@yakuraapp Are you about to submit the form?
That’s a great quote! Lifelong learning is key, especially in tech.
For upgrading skills, I rely on:
Online courses (Coursera, edX, Udacity)
Certifications (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
Tech communities (GitHub, Stack Overflow)
The YC AI School sounds interesting—thanks for sharing! Other solid programs:
Fast.ai (practical AI)
DeepLearning.AI (Andrew Ng’s courses)
MIT OpenCourseWare (free CS classes)
Keep learning! 🚀
Absolutely agree with that saying! Continuous learning is essential, especially in tech where innovations happen rapidly. I personally make it a habit to stay updated through online courses, webinars, and reading industry blogs. Formal education like certifications or postgraduate studies also adds great value. Platforms like AI School are fantastic opportunities to deepen knowledge and gain hands-on experience. How about you? What’s your favorite way to keep your skills sharp?
Personally, I blend self-directed learning with structured opportunities. I follow industry leaders on social media, subscribe to curated tech newsletters, and regularly take online courses on platforms like Coursera and Udemy to keep my skills sharp.
