Excited to share some launch progress with you!
Hey there,
For the last month, I've been working a new product from Nomadful that I'm pretty sure will revolutionise the health industry for years to come: an integrated, digital medical ID that will help you authenticate at health centres, restaurants, and even some venues. I'll be launching this product by the end of this month, and I can't wait for you guys to try it and share your thoughts on it. While I can't share it with you just yet, I can actually tell you some of the most outstanding features:
Share only what you need to, when you need to: this ID was designed around a checkbox UI, so you can check and uncheck what you want and don't want to share with others. For instance, if you only need to share your name and date of birth, you can uncheck the rest of your data (such as blood type, sex, region, etcetera). Plus, that info is saved, so if you happen to close the app and open it again, what you checked will be ready for you to use again.
Your data isn't anyone else's: whatever you choose to add to this digital ID is stored locally, and it won't leave your device unless you wan't it to. I'm currently working on a way to generate scannable codes locally, so that the app won't access third-party services to generate a code for your ID.
Only authorised apps and services: you can use this ID to autofill health-related data online (for example, when signing up to an insurance website or logging in to a hospital portal). But if any of these sites wasn't previously screened and approved, Nomadful won't let you copy this info.
Allergy detection: this one's crazy. Imagine you're ordering at a self-serve restaurant (such as those McD's with screens), and scan your ID to receive a tailored menu without food you're allergic to. This can also extend to online orders, where apps can detect if you're allergic to something in their menu to remove it from your experience or let you know about ingredients in dishes.
Companion app: for those looking to implement a scan-based authentication, there's also a private and adaptable app for enterprises, with adjustable parameters for faster authentication. For example, if a concert venue wanted to grant access to those over the age of 16, they can set a parameter to know this in seconds. Additionally, to offer more privacy to users, the companion app can only show the data of an ID once per session, for only 20 seconds. If we're talking about a venue, that virtually means: 20 secs, then gone forever.
Customisation: apart from letting users pick what they want to share and what they don't want to share, they can also customise their digital IDs with beautiful gradients and graphics to give them a personal touch.
This and more will roll-out soon to users on the Nomadful app, and I'm confident this is a big step towards unified health systems. Let me know your thoughts on this.
Thanks!
