The answer is more like “it depends”, but leaning more and more towards “yes”. 🤔

As users are exposed to increasingly personalized and intelligent experiences powered by AI, their expectations for other products are rising. If your product seems “a little stupid”, it may not be competitive in some areas.

Of course, not all products need to be forced into AI; if your product's core value is simplicity, focus, or solving a problem that doesn't require AI (such as a simple tomato clock app).

@partick_support That's very true, it really depends on what your product is. I don't believe every product needs AI, it's nice to have but no 100% necessary in every sector.

I think if it helps solve a problem or improve workflow and efficiencies then yes.

Most products are simply not built for AI, which opens a massive opportunity to rebuild entire industries. In the next decade, nobody will talk about AI because it will be everywhere. Just like nobody talks about the internet today, even though in the late '90s, everyone was excited about how it would change the world. Then the dot-com bubble burst, and many internet companies died. I'm old enough to recognize the same euphoria around AI today, and many of the companies making headlines now will simply disappear. Remember: the AI we have today is the worst version we’ll ever use. It will only get better and better over the next two decades.

@martyd I completely agree with you. I a few years AI will be the norm and no longer hyped up as much as it is. There will be new advancements in technology and we'll be on to the next big trend.
