Do you find product forums on PH useful to interact with people who followed your product?
I've been wondering is there a way to interact with people who followed your product on PH, and just noticed that every product has its own forum now. What are your experiences with this feature? Do you find it useful to remind people about your product? Did you get more active users that way?

When i was posting a ton in the forums, i was able to drive a lot of traffic to my product page, which was cool.
It takes a lot of work, so you of course have to weight your time vs the value its giving you. but for me, at a really early stage, even a few visitors per day was a big boost. many people on PH are pretty comfortable being early users too, which imo makes them even more valuable to get as a visitor (may not be perturbed by lack of polish).
overall, i think the forums are a pretty solid tool in the toolkit of getting engagement with your product, but there is no free lunch, it still takes alot of work to produce value in the forums.
I think the forums are really niche, most people only share their launches, you'd be better off setting up a newsletter in my opinion
