Fliiip Book aims to get back a small piece of what made Flash so wonderful back in the 2000s— the immediacy of expression through animation.

Oh, it had a little write-up in Cartoon Brew recently:

I can't wait to see what you create with it!

This is really fun! I would like an eraser (or clear current frame button) and a way to add more frames but it's a really fun tool to mess with!

Jonathan Myers

@kelvin_newton Thanks for trying it out! Currently the brush with white as the selected color is functioning as the eraser haha. I'll add clearing a single frame to the roadmap. That's a great idea.

@kelvin_newton Clear frame button has launched!

Fliiip Book looks like a fun and straightforward tool for anyone into animation or just wanting to create quick GIFs. The frame-by-frame drawing and onion skinning features make it feel like a proper animation studio right in your browser. Great for creatives who want a lightweight option without installing software. Will give it a try when I get a chance. Congrats on the launch 🚀

Hi, Jonathan. Congratulations on the release. I just tried your product and really liked it and it's so easy to make animations. Good luck!

Upd. I wanted a feature where you could adjust the speed yourself :)

Jonathan Myers

@maksym_skrypka Thanks for checking it out! And thanks for the feedback— adjustment of speed and number of frames is on the roadmap.

Congratulations on the launch! The tool is great for flipbook enthusiasts. I just had a small suggestion — while the duplicate feature does exist, it would be great if it were labeled more clearly or made slightly easier to access. I initially found it a bit difficult to duplicate a frame quickly while working on animations.

Jonathan Myers

@britestak Thanks for trying it out! I was just now thinking of that exact thing— adding an explicit button to duplicate the frame. Thanks for the feedback.
